![]() AND HOW COULD I FORGET, Guard Cancelling, Guard Breaking. And while forgotten, braking and feinting was implemented WAAAAY better than how SFIV handled FADC (that mechanic probably took inspiration from the former). And then you have the universal overhead (also featured in 3rd Strike) which can lead into some insane mixups as well. Then when he washed D-Nyce's Hokutomaru with his ACTUAL character (Terry Bogard) Those juggles from the Braking and Feinting mechanics goddamn. That 0% turned to a 50% Health refund hella quick. I will never forget that night at FRXII, seeing Aceuno floor that tourney with Grant, making insane comebacks against Grant with NO health only to fully Just Defend against his super with T.O.P. Like 3rd is intense, but the depth, the options, and variety offered in the mechanics provided in Garou puts it ahead. ![]() ![]() As a player who LOVES these two games (Especially the entirety of Street Fighter III.) The answer is Garou.
